Scope and Responsibilities
Gilmer Research Partners (Gilmer) is the organization and brand for the Gilmer Finance platform, operated by Gilmer Asset Management LLC, 5312 Rayburn Rd, Louisville, KY 40272. This notice describes information associated with visitors, account users, subscribers, and firm workspaces. A separate agreement may provide additional terms for your organization.
When an advisory firm supplies client information, that firm is responsible for its authority to provide it and for its own client notices. Direct questions about your advisor’s collection or use of your information to that firm. Gilmer can help route requests concerning information processed within the Terminal.
Information Used by the Service
Account information includes names, email addresses, authentication and verification information, firm membership, roles, and subscription entitlements. Information is used to establish accounts, authenticate users, administer access, and communicate about the service.
Authorized workspace features process the information users or their firms supply, such as client and household identifiers, investment accounts, holdings, transactions, tax lots, portfolio valuations, planning inputs, and research work. The categories available depend on the feature and your firm’s permissions. A field appearing in a screen does not authorize uploading it through every import pathway.
Technical information can include request and session identifiers, timestamps, browser or device information, network information processed by hosting services, and security or activity events. This information supports operation, troubleshooting, access control, and security investigation.
When online subscriptions are enabled, Stripe processes checkout and billing. Gilmer receives subscription and customer identifiers, contact information, payment-related status, and entitlement information. Enter payment-card information only in Stripe’s checkout or billing interface, not in research uploads or chat.
If you contact Gilmer, the information you send is used to respond and handle the request. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, full account numbers, or client records in an ordinary email.
Cookies and Browser Storage
Authentication uses cookies and session information. Features also use browser storage for preferences and working state, including themes, chart settings, watchlists, and some locally saved portfolio information. Browser storage is specific to that browser and is not a reliable archive.
You can manage cookies and stored site data through your browser. Blocking or clearing them may sign you out or remove locally saved preferences and work. Sign out after using a shared device and clear site data when appropriate.
Processing and Service Providers
Information is processed to deliver the features requested, administer accounts and subscriptions, protect the service, investigate problems, and respond to support or legal requests. Access within firm workspaces depends on the permissions assigned to users and administrators.
Service providers support hosting and delivery, authentication and databases, object storage, email, and billing. The platform integrates with Vercel, Supabase, Cloudflare, Stripe, and an email delivery service. The information each provider receives depends on the feature used. External data and filing links lead to services governed by their own notices.
When an AI feature is enabled, prompts, conversation history, and relevant context supplied to that feature may be processed by the configured AI service. Confirm your firm’s permitted use before entering confidential information. Ask Gilmer for the provider and contractual details applicable to your account; this notice does not promise a particular provider retention or model-training arrangement.
Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with applicable legal process or to investigate abuse and protect the service and its users. Provider processing locations can differ from your location; contact Gilmer for details relevant to your organization.
Data Minimization and Security
Use only the data categories permitted by the relevant feature and your firm. RIA or custodian investment-data imports have a separate restricted field policy. Do not include Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, passwords, bank-routing or money-movement instructions, or raw legal documents in those imports.
Gilmer uses authentication, authorization, and security logging controls to protect access. No online system provides an absolute security guarantee. This notice is not a security certification or a promise that every feature has independently verified controls.
Retention and Requests
Retention depends on the information, the service purpose, applicable agreements, security needs, and legal obligations. Active records, security events, operational logs, and backups can have different retention requirements. Account closure or clearing browser storage does not necessarily remove records held by a firm, a provider, or a backup.
Contact Gilmer to request access, correction, deletion, or information about the use of your personal information. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and the relationship involved. Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled; a request involving a firm’s client records may need to be coordinated with that firm.
The service is intended for adult users. Do not submit information about children unless a specifically authorized firm workflow permits and requires it.
Changes and Contact
The date on this page identifies the latest revision. Material changes affecting your account or processing arrangements may require additional notice or agreement under applicable terms and law. For questions or to route a privacy request, use the Gilmer contact below or your established Gilmer representative.
